You’ve just published your latest blog post and now wait with baited breath to see if it generates some buzz. You check every hour. And check. And check again.
It got a few likes, but nothing close to what you were hoping for. No one commented or shared it either. What went wrong? Does it mean your ideas were bad? Do you have to work harder to write about what people want, whatever that is?
Here’s the issue. Your ideas might be great. They might be pioneering and really insightful. But being led by the “like” button is taking us in inauthentic creative directions.
